Frets is a Green Bay live music institution. In the the northeast part of town, not far from UWGB, is an uninhibited bungalow for self-proclaimed free spirits, frequented by ace players and deuce dancers. Jam bands, bluegrass, rock’n’roll, country, punk—anything goes at Frets (formerly IQ’s). The Wednesday night open jam has long been the city’s best. Capacity of ~85; no limits on your miiiind.
